A veteran at this point to portraying jazz legend John Coltrane (see the illustrated book “Spirit Seeker” by Gary Golio), Rudy knows how to capture the saxophonist and composer in a style that truly reflects his unique personality. His latest portrait, which is a 40” x 60” acrylic painting, comes with a Coltrane-quote that reads:
"I want to be a force for real good. In other words. I know that there are bad forces, forces that bring suffering to others, and misery to the world, but I want to be the opposite force. I want to be the force which is truly for good.”
