Mark Matcho’s vintage-style illustration never seems to disappoint and 2021 is by no way an exception. So far, Mark has shared a number of incredible drawings, showcasing that his work isn’t just consistent, but that it keeps getting better. For example, his cover art for an upcoming release by electronic band Birmingham Electric shows great skill with his use of atmospheric light and his work for Fortune Magazine (on the glitzy glamorous offerings of financial institutions) shows mastery in both lettering and parody.
Lastly, in true Mark Matcho--fashion, we see an old-school illustration made for Health Magazine on the hazards caused by ticks and mosquitos, hearkening back to those classic old horror-film posters. For that article, Mark had this to say: “If it ain’t one thing, it’s another.”
