Ivan Canu's new series of illustrations were created for The Story of Italy written by the Italian journalist Paolo Mieli: "Italy of the Liberation in 50 portraits". The book includes 50 famous women and men who were politicians, activists, artists, or intellectuals who participate in the Resistance, the War of Liberation, and the republican constitution (1945-1948).
