Mark Smith looks to the stars with his latest cover for Tor.com; Our own planet, encapsulated by (and possibly likened to) the seeds of a mature dandelion. The book by Ruthanna Emrys, titled “A Half-Built Garden”, depicts Earth in the year 2083, much in need of urgent climate repair when confronted by its first-ever alien visitors.
