Photographer Rick Souders' Dessert #2 in the 12 Desserts of Christmas is Boozy Xmas Cherry Bombs. 10 ozs maraschino cherries, ½ c vanilla-flavored vodka, 2 squares of almond bark or 10 0z white chocolate chips, 2 Tbsp green sugar, and green nonpareils. Drain cherries, add vodka, refrigerate for 12 hrs. Drain and pat dry cherries. Melt candy or white chocolate (about 45 seconds in the microwave). Dip the bottom half of cherries in white melted candy. Then dip in the green sugar mix. Place on parchment. Chill in the fridge. Store in a tight container. Lasts 2-3 days.
