“The Ink Trail” Shares Making of His Latest Mural

Jan 06, 2022

After the opening of “Art Hiro”, Andreas von Buddenbrock’s/The Ink Trail’s exhibition in Central, Hong Kong, we finally get a glimpse into the making of the wall drawing that was created leading up to the event.

The mural, Andreas describes, was inspired by the venue’s Ultraman-like mascot, re-imagined as a statue or ancient being that’s been discovered somewhere far off in the heart of nature.

With the video, we can see the initial drawing that was created on the wall’s original stone surface, before being done over once again on a recently added wooden panel. Unlike the 11 artworks that were hanging on the walls (until the end of December), this wall drawing is now part of the restaurant/bar’s “permanent collection”.
