Mark Peterman recently had the pleasure of photographing author Nnedi Okorafor for Chicago Magazine. So far, she has written 18 works of fiction, one of which is currently in development (titled “Who Fears Death”) to be adapted on HBO/HBO Max and starring Tessa Thompson as the main lead.
Nnedi’s work is described by Chicago Magazine as "journeys into postapocalyptic unknowns through science fiction fantasy with an African backdrop.”
