The pandemic created a ripe opportunity for con artists. Whether the scammers were trying to persuade you to share sensitive information, swindle your money, your unemployment benefit, stimulus check, or vaccine passport it all was difficult for the average person to navigate. It was very confusing for so many people not knowing whom to trust.
