“It’s the connections that drive me to create. I am inspired to share that connection with my audience.”
Those are the words of photographer and Altpick member Matt Black, and his portraits are a testament to that statement. Earlier this year, Matt started sharing a few photos from his latest series of portraits, titled “Mia Madonna”, which can be seen here below. Aside from the series’ most obvious inspiration found in religious iconography, it also incorporates elements from various other places, like the Art Deco movement and the midnight sky.
