Illustrator Mark Smith wins best illustration in the 64th SoCal Journalism Awards, for Alta Journal's story titled ‘The Search Of A Lifetime’ about a 1952 double murder at Crater Lake in Oregon. The granddaughter of one of the victims picked up the case.
