When it’s a hot and sunny day in downtown Clermont, FL, don’t look for painter Rich Pope among the crowds on the lake or on the main strip. No, look behind the old Hank’s Electric building and you might just find him, palette-in-hand! We do enjoy a good plein-air painting here at Altpick, and without a doubt, Pope is one of the best in the field. His portrayal of the aforementioned electrical shop was recently shared on Instagram, soon followed by a magnificent new painting titled “Crooked River”. The latter will be exhibited at SOBO Gallery’s Top Choice exhibition on April 6 and will stay up all the way through both April and May!
