Cyr also has a new book coming out called Art Revolution (North Light Books June 2009), featuring the work of Marshall Arisman, Brad Holland, Dave McKean, Barron Storey, David Mack, Kazuhiko Sano, Fred Otnes, Michael Mew, Kathleen Conover, Rudy Gutierrez, Lynne Foster, Lisa L. Cyr, Cynthia von Buhler, Robert Maloney, Susan Leopold, AE Ryan, Matt Manley, Stephanie Dalton Cowan, Richard Tuschman, Dorothy Simpson Krause and Camille Utterback.
In addition, Cyr has a feature in the latest issue of the Communication Arts
Illustration Annual. The piece is entitled Interactive Storytelling. It
divulges into the exciting world of gaming illustration.
Last, but not least, Cyr will be lecturing on self-promotion at the Shanghai University (China) cultural exchange program called American Creativity in Art and Design. She will be presenting two lectures-Maintaining Your Creative Edge in a Competitive Environment and Creating Distinction through Innovative Production-to design faculty and students during a two-week program in July 2008.
Cyr will also be lecturing about promotional strategies and working with
illustration and design MFA students at both the Hartford Art School and
Marywood University for two weeks in July 2009.
