Nathan Ellis Perkel was fortunate enough to be chosen by James Price at Newsweek to photograph Captain Chesley Sullenberger, a pilot who safely landed a crippled passenger jet into the Hudson River in NYC.
"It was an honor meeting a hero. During our outdoor shoot, a group of high-school students chanted Sully!, during the shot, but Sully remained composed, courteously smiling and offering a head-nod to his fans. It was quite an amazing occasion.' --Nathan Ellis Perkel
