Charles Wilkin was selected by Michael Bierut from Pentagram to Design and Illustrate a mural for PS 186 in the Bronx, NY. Together with Richard Lewis Architects and the generous support of The Robin-Hood Foundation's library initiative Charles' mural became a reality. Named "The Garden of Reading", this mural takes the viewer on a trip around the world with images of any and everything collaged together, creating new stories that spark the imagination. The overwhelmingly positive reaction from students and faculty has made this a truly rewarding experience not only for Charles but everyone involved!
