Austin Music Photographer OG teams with Billboard & AT&T for High-Tech Collaboration
Austin based music photographer OG recently teamed with Billboard Magazine and AT&T to take part in their “Music on the Move” program. OG is one of ten people across the US selected to participate in this first of its kind collaboration. AT&T shipped OG a brand new smart phone loaded with the latest video technology from LiveCast enabling him to capture live music moments and stream them live online instantly at Billboard.com. OG has till October 15th to capture as much music related content as he can. A winner of the ten, based on Billboard.com editorial votes, video feed, and fan comments, will be selected and sent on a trip to any concert of their choosing, anywhere in the country.
“Austin is the Live Music Capital of the World so I have plenty of options for content. You could capture a bunch of performers while walking down 6th street on any given night.”
“I’m fortunate to be able attend many concerts, shows and other events around town. I think that will help to balance out all of the street performing content.”
“There is no other place like Austin. Being the only individual in the program from Texas, my goal is to share as much of the amazing music scene with those otherwise unfamiliar with it.”
“Although I’m not sure what concert I’d attend if chosen, I know I would definitely be seeking out a photo assignment from Billboard to also document the event.”
OG is an Austin based music photographer specializing in creative collaborations with talent from the entertainment realm. He has worked closely with recording artists such as Chamillionaire, Scarface, David Banner, Gorilla Zoe and Asher Roth as well as a number of the rising talent in the independent and underground music scenes. Known for his dedication and unique perspective, OG works through his creative company Luxury Mindz.
