PHOTOGRAPHER SACRIFICES NBA ALL-STAR GAME & JAY-Z TICKETS FOR HAITI - Music Photographer Donates Personal Sets of Event Tickets to Raise Money

To contribute to Haiti relief efforts, music photographer OG has announced a newly developed website where people can bid for his personal tickets to the 2010 NBA All-Star game. In addition to the NBA tickets, OG is also donating his tickets to one of Jay-Z's upcoming Blueprint 3 tour stops.

The website, TicketsForHaiti.com, is linked to two separate eBay auctions for each set of tickets. OG will donate all proceeds from each auction to two different Haiti relief organizations.

The All-Star game package includes two tickets to the game on February 14th at the Dallas Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas, hotel accommodations, motor-coach transportation to the game, stadium tour, photo opportunities and NBA souvenirs. The Jay-Z package includes two tickets to the Blueprint 3 tour stop on February 22nd at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas. Package details and other specifics can be found at TicketsForHaiti.com.

OG States-

"I had secured both the All-Star game and Jay-Z tickets last year. I'm a huge basketball fan and music advocate and have been looking forward to attending the events for some time, especially since they fall right around my birthday. After seeing and hearing the images and stories on CNN and on the Hope for Haiti Now telethon, I knew I had to do more."

"Soon after the earthquake, I began work on Haiti fundraising project focused on a shirt I designed. The first batch of shirts have been pressed up so I'm working towards getting in contact with Wyclef and his Yéle Haiti organization, or similar, to bring them to light. If for some reason that doesn't work out, we'll put it out on our own. We had to get involved."

"My fear is that we, and the media, forget what's going on over there and how big of a deal it really is. I can't help but to attempt to put myself in that situation to try to imagine how those over there must feel. To me, it's not about ethnicity, nationality, gender, or even geography. These are people, it's as simple as that."
