Brian Rea's new piece for the New York Times Fashion & Style section was titled "Maternal Wisdom". The article was about teenage parenthood and it's responsiblities. This school excercise was for 11 year old 6th grade girls to carry a 5 pound sack of floor to school for a week. The idea was to try to impress the girls how difficult it would to be a young mom.
