Midwest based Animal Lifestyle Photographer Barbara O'Brien along with Hollie Mae Schultz of HMS Styling collaborated on a fun fashion project last fall that combined Schultz' high style with O'Brien's animal instincts.
The crew of models, stylists, hair and makeup, Digi-techs, photo assistants and animal wranglers all descended upon a rustic farm near the tiny town of Stockholm, Wisconsin to create something new.
A beautiful black Friesian horse, a white swan, a wooly Cheviot sheep, another horse and pony and six Irish wolfhounds were featured in the images.
The Irish Wolfhounds each outweighed the model, Kelly, (Ignite Models) by more than half but she managed to walk all six at once.
The results of the shoot can be seen in the 2012 February/March issue of VECU magazine, starting on page 95.
