In the past year, Mike Austin has been collecting bits of rusted pipe, wire and corroded mechanical parts that he has come across on hikes and trips to the dump. Beautiful abstract pieces of discarded sheet metal litter his office floor. It's fun to see the results of this collecting transform into sketches and finally into his latest book Junkyard published by Simon and Schuster.
