Who needs the Tate when you can be in The Toilets

Clare has recently produced a set of commissioned images for the British Brewers Fullers, Smith & Turner plc. The images she created have been reproduced as a series of decals covering the cubicle doors of the Ladies and Gents toilets in the recently rebuilt Cams Mill in Fareham on the south coast of England. The mill is now functioning as a pub and restaurant. The seven door designs were created around the theme of milling using some manipulated photographic imagery in combination with milling terms which have been redefined with a light hearted and humorous approach. This is the latest in a series of projects with the brewery which Clare has been involved with. Fullers smith Turner have an encouraging attitude which involves local artists creating pieces for inclusion in their venues.
