Jim Fiscus shot the key art for Penny Dreadful, a new Showtime series created by Oscar-nominated screenwriter John Logan and co-executive produced by Oscar-winning director Sam Mendes, who previously collaborated on the James Bond blockbuster Skyfall.
From the official description of the series, which premieres May 11: "Some of literature's most terrifying characters, including Dr. Frankenstein, Dorian Gray, and iconic figures from the novel Dracula are lurking in the darkest corners of Victorian London. Penny Dreadful is a frightening psychological thriller that weaves together these classic horror origin stories into a new adult drama."
The key art has been plastered all over New York City in the lead-up to the show's debut, including a virtual takeover of Grand Central Terminal, where the images are on display everywhere from subway turnstiles to staircases. Some of Jim's cast portraits, along with a few shots of the key art are on view in Grand Central Station.
