Cade Martin was chosen to photograph objects from Abraham Lincoln's murder for the Smithsonian Magazine article "The Blood Relics From the Lincoln Assassination" "The .44-caliber Deringer that was fired at Lincoln is less than 6 inches long. Easily concealed, it has been called a 'pocket cannon'".
