Sergio Baradat's New Stamps for The United Nations Postal Adminstration

May 08, 2015

Today May 7, 2015, The United Nations Postal Administration (UNPA) will issue 4 of Sergio Baradat's new definitive stamps. "The UNPA creates a series of definitive stamps almost every year and it is one of my favorite projects to work on", says Baradat. "These types of stamps do not follow a particular theme, so we strive to bring awareness to certain issues in keeping with UN values."

This year Sergio created four stamps—two for the New York office and two for the Vienna office. For the New York definitive set, the 35¢ value highlights the diversity within the UN community and the 40¢ denomination focuses on the important issue of climate change. The Vienna set illustrates the concept of Peace for the €0,68 value and Human Rights for the €0,80 denomination.
