"I’d like to claim credit for the idea, but that goes to director of photography extraordinaire Allyson Torrisi at Popular Mechanics," says Diani. "As a backup I shot a few environmental portraits at Alder, Dufresne’s restaurant in the East Village, to illustrate his column in defense of frozen food. Wylie was an excellent sport, at one point even spitting crushed ice at me."
Wait, maybe that was just him spitting crushed ice.
