German artist and “web citizen” Oliver Wetter recently added a new illustration to his series of Elvgren pinup tributes, “Fantasio Girls” – a series which focuses on replacing the subjects of Gil Elvgren’s classic pinup illustrations with characters from modern pop culture. This time, the original image of a woman playing with a Boston terrier has been replaced by Catwoman, playing with a cat. The title Wetter chose for the illustration is “Lucky Cat”.
