Saverio Truglia did a new ad with BBDO Chicago for their client, LaSalle Bank.
The ad was for a promotion for their small business checking account in which business owners receive $100 for opening a new account with LaSalle or Standard Federal bank (their subsidiary). The concept was of an huge check being presented to an owner in their light manufacturing plant. Saverio found them a great bird cage factory in Chicago and they used their machinery and giant rolls of heavy wire to prop-out the shot. He made two checks at 6 and 4 feet which were ridiculously funny to see in the factory context being held by a clean and made up bank customer service person and a goofy, slightly dated looking business owner.
They shot two versions which will soon be running regionally in magazines and newspapers and perhaps outdoor.
