Even though Texas-based photographer Dave Shafer has been in the industry for quite some time, he admits that passing a magazine-stand in the local grocery store and seeing your own work is “still pretty cool”. What he referred to particularly in this case was the cover for Texas Highways Magazine, which was shot for an article about the “10 Best Lakes To Call Home”.
