Peter Chin

Peter Chin spent much of his childhood moving from family member to family member in his native Jamaica. Awarded a soccer scholarship for college, he... started working for the local photography lab and he was hooked. Already passionate about photography he became determined to leave Jamaica and attend the New York Center for Art and Media Studies and successfully majored in photography. Halle Angies and celebrity photographer Richard Corman were part of Peter's mentoring process.

Peter's work shows a strong technical ability and his careful attention to detail is reflected in his ability to artfully capture the subject matter. Peter's current personal projects include a documentary on breast cancer survivors and a book on the influence of reggae music around the world. Peter currently resides in New York City.
