RIPCORD GRAPHICS LLC is a diverse group of designers, illustrators and retouchers with a broad range of backgrounds and skill sets allowing us to see projects through from concept to completion. Kim Griffith is the Owner, Creative Director and Artist Representative showcasing two very accomplished illustrators in Dallas, Texas. She is also the Creative Director and Designer of Zaji Travel Magazine. TIM GRIFFITH - ABOUT THE ARTIST: A heavy influence of colors and imagery reminiscent of the 60's and 70's can be seen in Tim Griffith's work. With amazing attention to detail such as line work and textured strokes, his vector creations can range from whimsical children's book illustrations to fashion pieces infused with a great sense of style. Tim's latest project was to create the lead character for Zaji Travel Magazine. For each issue, this re-occuring female character will be indicative of the featured region and will serve as a visual narrator of sorts. Appearing on several pages throughout the magazine, the Zaji Girl's fashions and activities will always be representative of the themes of the articles as she captures and conveys the essence of what it means to be a Zaji Reader. STEVEN CRAIG - ABOUT THE ARTIST: Well-know for his vector icons, Steven Craig is also fluent in digital painting, retouching and color correction. He is very adept at matching proposed styles as well as creating new looks that are uniquely his own. A self-proclaimed "food and fun guy", Steven has had a great deal of experience with food-based, product illustrations as well as kid-targeted styles for games, toys and more. Whether it's re-creating an existing character or creating a brand new one from the wacky recesses of his mind, Steven's inner child continues to serve him well as an artist. |
