Artist Message
Charla Pettingill was born and raised in East Tennessee. She attended the Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, Georgia, where she graduated Magna cum Laude earning her B.F.A. and M.A. in Illustration. Charla is now an internationally-published freelance illustrator working in a combination of ink, watercolor, and digital media. Her artwork is recognizable as elegant, feminine, and colorful in appearance. She is currently available for freelance illustration work. Charla currently resides outside of Atlanta, Georgia with her husband. When she isn't illustrating, Charla enjoys doodling in her sketchbook at the park, making jewelry, and working on her own line of greeting cards.
