Artist Message
I've been asked what inspired me to pick up a camera and start taking photos. There wasn't one specific image that made me say "Hey, I want to do that!". It wasn't one specific photographer that made me look at this as an artform. It's a correlation of a few individual photographers and there bodies of work. Glen E. Friedman's shots of culturally influential punk bands and hip-hop artists in the 80s, and Herman Leonard's amazing black & whites of the jazz greats of the 40's & 50's. My images have been published in CD booklets, on web pages and in various publications. |
