American illustrator Catherine Huerta, who has now been living in France for two whole decades, is certainly not unfamiliar with illustrating animals (check out her magnificent work for McCann Erickson!). She recently finished this wonderful portrait of Charlie, “the beloved dog of a French aristocrat family”, set in the picturesque French countryside. The piece was painted in oil and was commissioned by Danièle Bour.
