When looking at “future predictions” from decades ago, it’s usually hard not to find humor in the way we envisioned our days to come with the limited information we had in the past. At the same time, it’s oftentimes also just as hard not to find things we actually managed to predict correctly.
This is the theme of a recent article in John Hopkins Magazine, titled “The Healthcare of Tomorrow”, which covers predictions made in the 1950’s. The article is featuring several beautiful illustrations by Altpick member Oivind Hovland, which, as we might expect, include the classic predictions of flying cars, robots and a ginormous “super computer”.
