For the cover and inside feature of their February issue, Marketing News magazine hired photographer, Lisa Predko, to shoot a number of images of marketing professional, Kelsey Conner. With a quirky and creative use of type, Lisa manages to take a word - in this case, “analytics” - that might otherwise put a few people to sleep and instead make it appear fun and interesting.
But hiring Kelsey for the shoot was not the easiest thing in the world; “It was a little tough negotiating with Kelsey’s agent”, Lisa says, “but luckily I was able to offer a few extra perks like a special dinner cooked by my favorite chef/Kelsey’s former boss (thank you Andrea!) complete with pink champagne (to compliment the set of course!) as well as unlimited hugs and adoration”.
Kelsey is the latest addition to a large number of powerful and interesting women that Lisa has had the privilege to shoot in the last few months, and she’s certainly not the last, as Lisa says there are more to come.
