Not too surprisingly, shooting stills alongside TV-commercials require a great deal of skill — something that photographer George Kamper no doubt possesses, with years of experience and 8 Tellies (from film directing) strapped to his belt. Not only does the work demand a good sense of light and composition, but also the ability to work fast and play well with others. This, among other things, includes knowing how to navigate around a commercial film set while also staying out of the crew’s way. As George says: “It’s kinda like magic. Now you see me, but mostly you don’t!”
What you see below are some behind-the-scenes photos and final images that were recently shared by George, offering a peak into a world that might be unfamiliar to many, yet in some way is connected to us all. Enjoy!
