Imagine a regular freight ship, crossing the Atlantic with a full cargo while navigating storms to get to its final destination. Now imagine that same ship, but without a crew, doing the very same things it’s supposed to do. That, according to an article in the IEE Spectrum, is something we might see in the very near future (“it’s not a question of if they will happen, but when”). And who better to illustrate this futuristic prediction than masterful artist, Eddie Guy? His illustrative style really shines when depicting these autonomous behemoths, and it’s proven so by the illustrations below!
