What better way to celebrate St Paddy's Day than with Ireland’s most iconic, mythological being: the Cyborg Leprechaun! OK, maybe the “cyborg” part isn’t commonly referred to in Irish folk tales, but that’s not to say it shouldn’t be visualized. Which is exactly what illustrator Brian Allen has done, with his very own, firefighting, Cyborg Leprechaun, specifically created for fire departments and t-shirt shops (currently available for licensing) to celebrate their Irish Pride.
“I try to design one of these each year”, Brian says, “and I had a lot of fun with this one, trying to approach it differently by making the Leprechaun into a cyborg. From the future? Only time will tell.”
