Lennette Newell’s photo of a spider monkey, the endangered Ateles Geoffroyi, was recently selected by FOCUS photo LA Summer 2018 edition as part of their “TOP 20” finalists! It was displayed earlier in July at the FOCUS photo LA exhibition during Les Rencontres de la Photographie in Arles, France. In sharing the news, Lennette also informed that she will be releasing more images from her years-in-the-making “Primate” series and that she expects it to be completed by the end of this year.
