April 22, also known as “Earth Day”, is one of the most widely celebrated environmental events across the globe. It’s held to increase appreciation for our planet’s natural environment as well as awareness of the challenges it’s currently facing.
Photographer George Kamper showed his support with a beautiful shot of orchids — a personal favorite from his series of black&white flowers. This floral collection (which also happens to be grown by George’s wife, Sherryl) is one of many important contributions to raise awareness of this special day and what it represents.
