There is a growing need today for people who can combine their expertise in scientific disciplines with skills in data science, modeling, computation, and more.

In a feature titled “Master of Science in Applied Computational Life Sciences” the Think Tank W.I.R.E. looked to portray some of the jobs that can come from having these skills, and so they turned to illustrator and Altpick member Mirko Cresta for help.

The illustrated segment is specifically focused on one of Switzerland’s leading universities of applied sciences, the ZHAW School of Life Sciences and Facility Management, and envisions several jobs of the near future, including “greengineers”, “data chefs”, “health decoders”, “automation architects” and “cloud modelers”.
