Illustrator Luisa Jung is thrilled to hear that "Brain Fables" has been shortlisted for the V&A Illustration Awards! Brain Fables is one of the 10 finalists in the book illustration category.
"I was commissioned by Dr. Alberto Espay and Benjamin Stecher to illustrate the cover and 15 chapters of their book: “Brain Fables: The Hidden History of Neurodegenerative Diseases and a Blueprint to Conquer Them” published by Cambridge University Press". Luisa continues to say, "Each chapter illustration had to depict a specific stage in the researcher's journey of exposing the faults in the way neurodegenerative brain disorders have been researched and treated so far."
The winners will be announced mid-July.
