Lukova’s work at the Museum of Natural History in Trento, Italy

Five of Luba Lukova’s posters are currently displayed at the Museum of Natural History in Trento, Italy in a show called The Naked Ape. The scientific exhibition explores the human evolution and the parallels between human and animal behavior. Fine arts examples are displayed together with scientific artifacts and the other artists include Marc Chagall, Andy Warhol, Eva Sutton. Lukova’s Crime Series and Peace poster are exhibited in a section about wars and genocide. A large reproduction of her Love poster is displayed as an opener of a chapter on human and animal sexuality. The exhibition will continue until January 2008 and then will travel to museums in Torino and Udine.
