"Art is Long, Life is Short" by Anthony Foronda

Jan 30, 2014

Anthony Foronda's father, Saturnino Foronda, Jr., who was a member of the International Newspaper Guild Union worked in the Engraving Department, on the 4th floor of the main building of the Washington Post Company, on L & 15th Street in DC, between Sept. 1968 until he retired in Oct. 1996. Both father and son just finished this collaborative piece. "Each of us did the lettering and we put everything together in an hour and a half", says Foronda.
