NYC-based photographer Stephanie Diani launched a new project on her website and blog this week.
Live Audience! is a series of portraits of people who are regular live audience members in Los Angeles. For those not familiar with the industry, at show tapings audience members are guided through a variety of responses by an audience producer, often himself or herself a performer, in addition to being asked to react spontaneously to what happens on stage.
The project grew out of Diani's fascination with the dichotomy between appearance and truth.
