Michael Wylot's photographs were made last month while on a personal project shoot for his portfolio. These racing style images were shot at 2015 The Race of Gentlemen in Wildwood, NJ. The Race of Gentlemen takes place once a year on the beach in Wildwood, NJ.
These images capture the true artistry of the event. Images of 1950's and under cars and motorcycles drag racing on the beach. The drives and officials dress the part for the event. This event lent itself to the use of saturated colors and also black and white to capture the mood, texture and allure of the vintage race look for my portfolio shoot.
