As 2020 came to a close, illustrator Anni Betts found herself with a little bit of time to work on her own, personal projects. One of these projects is her Alphabet Animals (or “Alphimals”, as she likes to call them), a series she started all the way back in 2014(!). Luckily for Anni, her working pace has gotten a lot quicker in the last few years and her understanding of what children are interested in (being a mother of two) has become a lot better. Her latest additions to the series include G for Giraffe with a Guitar, H for the Hula-Hopping Hippo, and I for an Iguana eating Ice Cream.
