“All you need is love”, said the Beatles. “Love makes the world go round”, said the Powerpuff Girls. No matter the reference, it’s obvious that there couldn’t be too much love in this world and that Valentine’s Day is a day to remind us of it (whether you’re showing love to others or to yourself).
Illustrator Anni Betts shared that she loves this particular day partly because life is wonderful when it’s full of love, and partly because it gives her a chance to work on the wonderful color combo of red and pink. She recently created this “typographic doodle”, inspired by both Valentine’s Day and the Beatles, which is now available on her Etsy shop (linked below)!
