Dan-Bergman Captures Brief Winter Weather In LES

Jan 25, 2024

After a long dry spell, New York City finally saw some real snowfall - the first in 701 days! However, the less-than-two-inch accumulation (“meaningful accumulation” in NYC being at least one inch of snow in Central Park) didn’t last long as it soon melted away and the falling snowflakes turned to rain. Lucky for us, photographer Kristofer-Dan Bergman was quick to capture the short-lived winter weather in this great photograph of a snowy basketball court in the Lower East Side.
