Whenever photographer Keith Decristo receives compliments for his work (which we imagine happens often), his automatic response tends to be that “the model is really doing all of the work”. According to Keith, this was especially true for the spectacular image below. Though the concept and styling was made by Naomi Cooper, Keith proclaims that model Sarafina “brought a great wardrobe, did her own makeup, and brought the kind of collaborative intuition that makes for a great photograph”. Naturally, Keith also had a crucial hand in the process, shooting with Fuji Provia film, scanning, retouching and just making his collaborators feel happy and comfortable on set.
