If you know Rudy Gutierrez’s art, then you're most likely aware of his soulful bond with jazz legend John Coltrane (for one, check out his illustrated book, “Spirit Seeker: John Coltrane’s Musical Journey”). So, it might not come as a surprise that comes Coltrane’s birthday (September 23) we had the pleasure of seeing several of Rudy’s brilliant pieces dedicated to the famous saxophonist/composer.
